Hope

Hi Suzanne,

Thank you for the email - difficult to say how I am doing really. I had a strange dream a few weeks ago, and it was as though God was telling me that I must accept and trust. I constantly remind myself of this. B… is due to start next round of Chemo next week - please continue to pray for him, love you,

Healed by the Power of God

Dear All

I have to state up front that I have always, to my shame, been quite skeptical about the ability to heal through prayer. However, as the three of you were praying for me today I felt a warm glow going right through me and, as you witnessed, I started shaking uncontrollably. The effects were almost immediate and tonight I feel stronger and healthier than I have felt for a long time. Tonight I enjoyed a barbecue with my family and enjoyed my first real meal for almost three weeks without any pain or discomfort.

I would like to express my awe that the Holy Spirit has used you as the vessels for this remarkable experience. It remains to be seen whether this is a permanent improvement or whether God has chosen to give me a glimpse of His power to help me to concentrate my mind on more intensive prayer. As always, whatever the outcome it will be part of His plan.

Please continue to remember me in your prayers as I will you.

God bless each of you.

Be my Spiritual Mentor

Dear Suzanne

As you know I am a fairly new born again Christian who rediscovered my faith in The Lord after many years of detachment from Christ as a result of my addictions to drink and gambling. Since I was born again I have had regular meetings with my Pastor to discuss the Glory of God's love. However, at our most recent meeting he suggested that as well as continuing to see him I should consider approaching a friend who I trusted to become my confessor and spiritual mentor. He also said that this individual did not need to be a member of my congregation and that I might, in fact, find it more comfortable if it was a friend who was in another Christian place of worship.

I have prayed about this matter deeply and I feel that God is drawing me towards you. I have witnessed your wonderful faith and have read and listened to your contributions to various discussions with great admiration. If you feel you were able to take me under your wing I would be both honoured and grateful. In any event I would love to visit your Church at the earliest possible opportunity to hear you preach. With all God's blessings and much love in Christ.
